A large flared vase by the French ceramist Jean Varoqueaux of the Poterie Périgordine, France. 1960s.Decorated with embossed and etched motifs in shades of orange and brown, dark brown glaze inside.
Signed to the base.

Excellent condition.
Active from 1938 to the 1970s, Varoqueux was innovative in terms of technique and decor, and his work evolved throughout his artistic life.
He was the subject of an exhibition in 2024/2025.
