Elegant decorative glazed ceramic bowl by Louis Dage, circa 1930, set in a beautiful gilded metal mount with foliage motifs.

The bowl features an unusual enamel decoration in complex shades of blue-green-grey, deeply veined with craquelure, with a central motif in shades of red, brown, cream, and yellow, creating a very rich and nuanced effect.

The particularly decorative mount consists of a beaded border and two leaf-shaped side ornaments, resting on a small base with a plant motif.
