Pol Chambost Ceramic Box

Ceramic box by Pol Chambost, circa 1950s/60s. A very beautiful box in excellent original condition by this renowned post-war designer. Pol Chambost was a student of the École des Arts Appliqués (School of Applied Arts), specializing in sculpture, and became an icon of the French style thanks to his distinctive and high-quality creations. He founded his company after the war. This catalogued and rather rare piece will delight both collectors and lovers of fine objects. Note the depth and quality of the glazes.
