Perfume Bottle - Daum Nancy, France - Art Deco Period
Artist: Daum
A "smoked" glass perfume bottle crafted by Daum Nancy during the Art Deco period, circa 1920–1930.
The spherical body features a stylized design deeply carved into the glass, combining large, geometric plant motifs, leaves, and circular elements.
The interplay between the recesses, the reliefs, and the transparency of the “smoky brown” glass gives the design a look that is very characteristic of the manufacturer’s Art Deco productions.
The bottle retains its original glass stopper, crafted in the same shade as the body.
The signature “Daum Nancy France,” accompanied by the Cross of Lorraine, is engraved on the base of the bottle.
