Claude Galle, A Pair Of Empire-consulate-period Candelabras.

A very rare pair of Empire-period candelabra with three light arms, attributed to Claude Galle.
Crafted in gilded bronze, they feature three caryatid heads supported by a hexagonal shaft and resting on three pairs of legs.
Emerging from the first tier, the three branches, adorned with foliage, take the form of griffins.
The top finial is chiseled with a large lotus flower, and its candleholder is decorated with anthemion motifs
Beautifully executed, with particularly fine and meticulous chiseling, in its superb original gilding.
