A charming antique portrait miniature, presumably painted on ivory, depicting an elegant young woman in early 19th-century dress. She is shown wearing a white gown with puffed sleeves and a vivid red shawl, her dark hair arranged in fashionable ringlets.

The miniature is presented in a finely detailed oval gilt-bronze or ormolu frame, surmounted by a ribbon bow and suspension loop.

First half of the 19th century.
