17th-century Carved Panel. Profile Of A Saint. France.
A beautiful panel depicting a holy woman in profile, facing to the right. This portrait is set within an oval, which is itself raised in relief within a rectangle. Traces of the original polychromy remain. In particular, the pink on the cheek. Medium-length wavy hair; the bust begins with a draped fold.
The panel has been treated, like all our sculptures, with Xylophène. It is therefore fully stabilized.
