An interesting gouache miniature on paper, depicting a magnificent fortified house with towers, ramparts, and an aqueduct overlooking a stream. You can see the Roman roof tiles! On the left, shrubs and bushes. A few clouds in the sky. Shadows, textures, and lighting are rendered very well.
