Antique Vietnamese Bronze Silver & Mixed Metal Inlaid Hand Warmer, 19th Century

An antique Vietnamese bronze hand warmer, finely decorated with silver and mixed-metal inlay depicting flowers, lotus and cloud motifs.

The removable pierced cover is decorated with Buddhist auspicious symbols, while the double swing handle allowed the vessel to be carried when filled with glowing charcoal.
