Antique Vienna Bronze Romantic Risqué Lovers & Voyeur By Tereszczuk C1900

A finely cast and charming Antique Vienna bronze group by Peter Tereszczuk (1875–1963), depicting a playful and slightly risqué genre scene typical of early 20th-century Viennese production.

The composition shows a young couple embracing behind a folding screen (paravent), while a humorous voyeur peeks around the side, creating a lively narrative full of movement and character. The screen itself is decorated with relief scenes, adding depth and visual interest to the piece.

Executed in solid bronze with a rich, warm patina, the sculpture displays excellent detail in the figures, drapery, and facial expressions. The base is signed “P. Tereszczuk” and bears a foundry mark, confirming the attribution.

Vienna bronzes of this type were produced as decorative cabinet pieces and conversation objects, often combining elegance with subtle humour and theatrical storytelling.

Condition: Good condition with a pleasing aged patina and light wear consistent with age.
