Amusing frog pulling a shell with its little one on the shell.
Period: Art Nouveau around 1900. It is a hard metal art cast with the density of bronze.
It is made of solid metal and painted in the style of certain Vienna bronzes.
This subject is inspired by a sculpture by Paul TOUCHET (1854-1936).
The frog has a brown patina, on the shell the decoration shows traces of fine gold gilding and deliberately worn paint.

The object is of quality, no shock, no accident, nice patina, slight wear from use and time.
