■ Henri-Alexis Schaeffer (Paris, 1900 – Neuilly-sur-Seine, 1975) was a student of Fernand Cormon at the École nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He was a member of the Salon des Artistes Français beginning in 1934. Listed in the Bénézit.
