Jean-Adrien Mercier (1899–1995) was a French painter, illustrator, and poster artist born in Angers. He is best known for his advertising posters created in the 20th century. In addition to this work, he produced numerous pieces inspired by the landscapes of Anjou, particularly around the Château de Châteaubriant in Sainte-Gemmes-sur-Loire, where he lived for much of his life.
