Early 19th-century French School, After Vincent : “portrait With Three Pencils”

Early 19th-century French school, after Vincent : “Portrait in a Robe,” drawing in three pencils (charcoal, red chalk, and white chalk), 51 x 35 cm, mounted under a gray beveled passe-partout, 65 x 50.
Small tear in the lower left corner, numerous light foxing spots.
Excellent old copy after a drawing by François-André Vincent(1746–1816), a great 18th-century French master who was David’s main rival.
