Vases From 1925 By Muller Frères Lunéville And Daum Nancy, Sold As A Set Or Individually. Gallé, Schneider
Artist: Muller Frères Et Daum Nancy
I am offering this interesting collection of Art Deco-era French glassware by Daum Nancy and Muller Frères Lunéville, sold individually or as a set as follows:
- First, a superb and very rare spherical vase with a flat neck by the Muller brothers in Lunéville, circa 1920–1930, signed with a point on the body.
Height: 15 cm, circumference: 46 cm, and diameter: 13 cm
In perfect condition.
This is indeed a rare Muller vase, for while there are models with identical shapes and decorations, this one features a variation and a rarity: its neck is lemon yellow. Indeed, this ball-shaped vase features a design of interlayered powders in bright red and blue tones, but the neck is adorned with a magnificent yellow enamel, which obviously makes all the difference. Perhaps a prototype....
Price for this vase alone: 340€
-I’m also offering 3 goblet vases by Daum Nancy from around 1920–1930
- The first is made of glossy, very thick glass and features a superb design in bright red tones with darker shades; the interior is a milky white.
Signed at the tip: Daum, Cross of Lorraine, Nancy
Height: 12 cm
In good condition, though there are a few firing flaws such as bubbles in places
Price for this vase alone: 180€
- The second vase has the same shape but is made of matte satin-finished glass; it features a design created with interlayered powders in shades of orange and deep blue
Also signed at the base
Same dimensions: 12 cm, and in perfect condition
andsame price on its own: €180
- Finally, the last one is also cup-shaped and made of matte satin-finished glass, but in shades of yellow and orange with hints of green. Same dimensions, 12 cm tall, also signed on the tip
In perfect condition
Price for this vase alone: 180€
Or, finally, price for the set of 4 vases: 800€—your choice
