A significant processional cross made of metal and polychrome enamel, decorated on both sides with enameled panels dominated by cobalt blue and green, enhanced with stylized plant motifs.
Description
The decoration features relief figures of saints and angels set within medallions and accompanied by a rich network of foliage. The ends of the cross feature a polylobed design, also enameled. The lower section retains its silk loop for attachment to a shaft, characteristic of its use in processions.
An 18th-century piece, retaining its original leather-covered case lined with fabric on the inside.

Condition consistent with its age; minor chips or chips in the enamel visible in the photographs.
