Vintage 1950s bench sofa in the style of Pierre GARRICHE, Paul GEOFFROY, or Florence KNOLL.
Bench sofa that unfolds to serve as a guest bed.
Entirely period!
Metal frame with a slatted base topped by a Dunlopilo mattress, also from the period (it would be advisable to replace the two foam pads, which have sagged).
The entire piece is upholstered in a perfectly preserved vintage blue velvet fabric (with removable covers), free of snags or stains, and retaining its original color.
No visible trace of a manufacturer’s label… it may have come loose over time.
The springs are in good condition.
