18th-century Statue Fragment
A polychrome and gilded wooden hand mounted on a walnut base. This hand likely came from a statue of the infant Jesus holding a globe, similar to those found in depictions of the Virgin and Child. A clearly visible hole in one of the photos was likely used to hold the cross.
