An elegant Ispahan rug, crafted from fine kork wool knotted on a silk foundation, with silk fringes. It features a design of great finesse, centered around an imposing, finely chiseled central medallion, from which radiates a delicate network of floral scrolls, palmettes, and harmoniously balanced arabesques.
The luminous and refined ivory field highlights a subtle palette of deep blues, sky blue, beige, brown, and touches of dusty pink, creating a contrast of great elegance. The richly ornamented spandrels complement the central medallion perfectly, while the succession of finely drawn borders, featuring floral and plant motifs, frames the entire design with balance and sophistication.
The quality of the Kork wool, which is particularly soft and silky to the touch, combined with the silk foundation, gives the rug remarkable finesse of workmanship and great precision in the design, characteristics typical of Isfahan productions.

Condition: Very good overall condition. Note some wear on the wool of the last beige border, as well as small yellowish stains.
