Abstract Art Rug After Kandinsky 220x170 Cm

In this chromatic variation of the Milieu Accompagné rug, Wassily Kandinsky's legacy is expressed with renewed sensitivity, where the palette softens without losing any expressive intensity. Faithful to the spirit of the pioneer of abstraction, this version explores a more muted, almost meditative harmony, where each hue seems to converse in a serene breath.

The subtly nuanced pistachio background acts as a silent canvas upon which forms with precise yet free contours are placed. The composition retains its dynamic structure: an interweaving of lines, arcs, and graphic signs that evoke a visual score in motion.

At the center, a large, sinuous form unfolds, composed of colored segments in softer tones: deep, slightly grayed blues, powdery pinks, muted yellows, and subtle greens. This central figure seems to glide through the space, creating a sensation of fluidity and balance. Unlike a more contrasting version, here the transitions are smoother, inviting a more intimate contemplation.

Around this main axis, a constellation of details enriches the surface: fine, vertical lines, small geometric structures, fragments of circles, and colorful punctuations.

On the left, organic, undulating forms lend an almost calligraphic dimension, while on the right, more structured elements establish a controlled tension between spontaneity and rigor.

Touches of black, used sparingly, structure the whole and guide the eye without disrupting the overall softness of the palette. Warmer flat areas of terracotta, ochre, and pink anchor the composition, giving it depth and warmth.

As in the works that Kandinsky categorized as "impression," "improvisation," and "composition," nothing here is left to chance. This variation offers a more serene interpretation of abstraction: a textile work where the vibrancy of colors gives way to a subtle harmony, ideal for elegant and contemporary spaces.

The "Mid-Around - Chromatic Variation" thus becomes a piece that is both artistic and decorative, offering a gentle, balanced visual experience deeply inspired by the silent interplay of forms and colors.
