Fragment of Aubusson tapestry see Gobelin from the 17th century.
This tapestry fragment depicts a mythological angelic child in the center. On either side we find two columns of golden acanthus scrolls as well as at the back of the angel in a background of blue sky.
The border is also a fragment brought back from the same period.

Hanging: The tapestry is ready to hang, with supporting rings at the back.

Size : 172.5x110 cm
Condition : Reweaving, wear, discoloration and loss. Nonetheless beautifully maintained for a fragment of this age, composition and weaving style.
