Relics Of Saints Maur And Andrew - Late 18th Century
In an Italian monstrance made of carved and gilded wood, a central cartoucheholds bagged relics (ex-ossibus) from two saints, accompanied by Latin labelsindicating Maurus and Andreas. The whole is set within a delicate arrangement of gildedcannetille, beads, and colored glass.
On the back, a parish wax seal is clearly visible, and a second oneappears to be concealed beneath a layer of glued-on paper.The reliquary is therefore unopened.
