Important Reliquary With Four Relics And Agnus Dei - 18th Century
In a simple gilded wooden frame, we present to you an important reliquary frame by its dimensions of 58 cm by 44 cm and by its rich composition of Agnus Dei, Holy Relics and silver thread cannetilles, pearls and colored glass beads. An oil of 18 cm by 12 cm, probably in vellum, sits in the center of this vast composition.
It is a polychrome scene of the adoration of the Magi, surrounded by eight Holy elements, namely four wax Agnus Dei and as many substantial ex-ossibus relics bagged. Are with us, Saint Boni, Saint Restitut, Saint Urbain and Saint Severin, all four Martyrs of the first centuries.
On the back of this precious reliquary we find a wax seal of the General Vicariate of an episcopate and especially its authentic, although later because dated 1832
