Pair Of Mirrors In Baroque Reliquary Frames - Late 18th Century
The frames in embossed metal sheets, oval in shape and with rocaille decoration, are richly carved with volutes and foliage.
A work probably Italian or from southern Germany before 1800. These frames, in the cartagloria style, were originally used as reliquaries.
The back has been replaced by mirrors.
Dimensions: 29 cm by 21 cm.
Used condition - small tears at the base.
