Fang Byeri Statue, Guardian Of The Ngumba Reliquary, Southern Cameroon

Rare Fang statue from the Ngumba people of southern Cameroon, 54 cm tall and 60 cm with its beautiful gallery-style base.
Ngumba statues are notable for their realistic style, very fine carving, a wax-like patina, and beautiful copper ornamentation that enhances their beauty.
