An elegant pair of finely chiseled and richly gilded bronze candlesticks from the Restoration period, tastefully echoing the decorative motifs of the Louis XVI style.

Each candlestick rests on a circular base adorned with radiating water leaves and beaded friezes. The shaft, decorated with fluting and stylized plant motifs, supports an elegant gadrooned vase topped by a beaded-rimmed candleholder. The set displays harmonious proportions and high-quality craftsmanship, characteristic of French productions from the first third of the 19th century.
