French Lalique "renoncules" Opalescent Glass Vase, Mid-20th Century
A refined Lalique glass vase from the "Renoncules" series, produced in opalescent glass with a frosted upper section and a sculpted floral band. The ranunculus motif is rendered in soft relief, giving the piece a balanced decorative rhythm.
The interplay between the satin finish and the translucent, slightly blue-toned lower section enhances the depth of the design. The piece has a strong visual presence without being overly heavy, making it suitable for both display and interior styling.
The base carries the engraved mark "Lalique France", placing the piece in post-1945 production. René Lalique is widely regarded as a key figure in twentieth-century design, particularly through his work in glass.
A recognisable Lalique design with enduring appeal, combining decorative quality with functional form.
