Object description :

"Architectural Longquan Celadon Bowl With Foliate Rim — Southern Song/early Yuan (13th–early 14t"

A quietly powerful celadon for refined interiors: scalloped foliate rim, carved chrysanthemum rosette and scrolling foliage under a sea-green glaze that pools like water and softly pales at the edge. The exterior is melon-lobed, the underside with high, cut foot showing kiln grit and a central glaze button — classic Longquan kiln features. UV-checked: inert at rim and base; no overpaint or filler.

Measurements

  • Diameter: 20.6 cm (8.1″)

  • Rim thickness: ~6.1–6.2 mm

  • Footring height: ~9.5 mm

  • Weight: approx. 560 g

Condition
Excellent, with only natural kiln grit and tiny firing freckles. Bright glaze and confident carving, entirely unrestored.
