A beautiful pair of Chinese porcelain vases with flared necks, hand-painted in the “Famille Rose” style.

Each vase features a rich design of blooming peonies—a symbol of prosperity and nobility in Chinese art—accompanied by birds perched among the branches. The reverse side is adorned with calligraphic inscriptions in Chinese characters, adding a decorative and poetic touch to the ensemble.

The delicate color palette combines shades of pink, green, brown, and black against a very light celadon background. The designs are executed with finesse and enhanced with gold details. The elegant shape, with its widely flared neck, particularly highlights the floral compositions.

Apocryphal marks on the base. This pair of vases offers beautiful decorative quality, ideal for adorning a classic interior or a cabinet of curiosities.
