Important Art Nouveau-style dining room display cabinet, made in the early 20th century.
This high-quality piece features the dynamic architectural lines characteristic of Art Nouveau, enhanced by curved side display cases, glass doors decorated with enameled floral motifs, and rich ornamentation in patinated bronze.
The front is accented with friezes of stylized roses, while two elegant applied putti frame the central section.
The upper section opens with four glass-paned doors and offers ample display space.
The center features a niche with a mirror at the back, set above a green marble shelf.
The lower section opens with four doors and two drawers.
The rounded side display cases lend a sense of lightness to the entire piece.
The piece retains its locks and several antique keys.
The decorated glassware is original.
With its generous dimensions, rich decoration, and high-quality craftsmanship, this sideboard is a remarkable example of French furniture from the Belle Époque.
