Napoleon III Period Mirror
Mirror from the Napoleon III period, second half of the 19th century, featuring a burrwood frame with warm shades and highly decorative veining.
The mirror adopts an oval shape set in an architectural frame, enhanced by rich, finely chased ormolu ornamentation: foliate falls in the corners and a large central pediment with shell and foliate decoration.
The mercury glass offers a beautiful reflection with slight alterations that contribute to the charm of the whole.
The original parquet back confirms quality workmanship.
