Beautiful and authentic Louis XV period Lyon chest of drawers, in solid walnut, dating from the eighteenth century.

This high-quality regional model is distinguished by its curved front over three rows of drawers, richly adorned with deep carvings decorated with shells, scrolls and foliage, typical of Lyonnais work.

The drawers are embellished with superb original bronze fittings, decorated with medallions and garlands, offering an elegant contrast with the warm patina of the walnut (rings missing).

The central crosspiece features a motif carved as a stylized heart, a decorative signature frequent on 18th-century Lyon productions.

The piece rests on arched legs, and its flowing belt reinforces its elegance and balance.
