The scalloped cutting the plateau, waving feet, openwork treatment of the bottom are specific to the rococo style. The walnut table is carved beak of corbin. This model Jigsaw walnut is typically Provencal and especially the Nîmes region. The drawer handles and the escutcheons are gilded bronze. This chest has no lock and that from the beginning.
