Travel Reliquary

Travel reliquary presenting the relics of St François de Sales, of Saint Hugues; unidentified third relic, mentioned as "pain dagnus". The reliquary is surmounted by a removable Christ on the cross. The central part presents a Madonna and Child in carved wood, housed in a glazed niche. Volute consoles adorned with gilded bronzes with acanthus leaf motifs frame the central body. Finally, the three relics are visible in the lower part, surrounded by a ribbon of paper written in ink. Louis XIV period Usual restorations H. 33.5 x W. 16.5 x D. 5 cm
