Louis XIV-era Ladies' Chest Of Drawers With Three Drawers, Made Of Oak – Carved Decoration
Charming narrow oak chest of drawers, featuring three wide drawers stacked one above the other on the front.
The front features an interesting geometric design carved in relief, forming scalloped motifs that punctuate each drawer.
The top echoes this same decorative style with four carved poly-lobed motifs, surrounded by a molded border.
Beautiful antique bronze hardware consisting of ornate handles with foliage decoration and elaborately crafted lock plates.
The lower crossbar is cut out and scalloped.
The sides are simple, paneled, while the drawers feature a traditional construction with dovetail joints.
A piece full of character, retaining a beautiful antique brown patina, suitable for use as an occasional dresser or a generously sized storage piece.
