Vincent De Vos,born in Kortrijk in 1829 and died in the same city in 1875, was aBelgian painter known for his animal depictions andgenre scenes. He exhibited regularly at the Triennial Salons of Belgium as well as at the Salons in Paris.
His works are now held notably at the Groeninge Museum in Bruges as well as in several public collections across Europe, including in Lille, Tourcoing, Mulhouse, and London.
