18th-century Paper Cutouts Depicting Saint Teresa
Gouache on vellum depicting Saint Thérèse. The colors are very vibrant. Saint Thérèse is surrounded by a border of floral-patterned scrolls. It is housed in a frame from the same period, made of very thin, irregular glass, featuring numerous bubbles that add to the charm of the piece. This delicate and fragile work has come down to us in perfect condition and has likely never been opened since it was sealed.
