A fine gun of fine workmanship, probably German made if we base ourselves on the marking on the barrels "J. W. Sonns in Widddern".
Good mechanics, functional. No play.
Damascus steel barrels.
On the steels, engravings of scrolls, two hunting dogs, a stag, two deer and a fox head.
Crosse formerly extended by a wooden hoof.
The tenon holding the barrel and longstock is obviously not the original one, it's a replacement.
