Six-shot revolver, 11 mm caliber, centerfire. Made of polished white steel with oxidized parts.
The front section of the truncated conical barrel bears the front sight; the central section is octagonal, engraved on the upper face with “Mle 1873” and on the opposite face with “H 529.” The front part of the ramrod holder protrudes from the right side of the intermediate face. The cylinder has six chambers drilled symmetrically around a cylindrical channel into which the cylinder pin is inserted. Iron crown ring with pivot and pin. The frame bears remnants of the engraving “Mre d’Armes St Étienne” and hallmarks. Checkered walnut stock.
Suitable for shooting; the barrel has a crisp click, and the gap between the barrel and the stock is correct (between 0.5 and 0.75 mm). Sold as is. France. Third Republic.
