Beautiful and very comfortable Louis XVI period armchair in patinated beech, 18th century.
Our armchair with its rounded back has an enveloping seat and incomparable comfort thanks to its down-filled cushion.
This armchair rests on four tapered and fluted legs surmounted by dice with floret motifs for the front legs. The structure is in good condition and very stable. The seat was recently refurbished by a professional upholsterer. Fabric and upholstery are therefore in very good condition. Superb quality Genoa velvet upholstery in cream and midnight blue tones.
Please note the antique reinforcement (small metal plate) inlaid in the woodwork at the top of the backrest (see photos). (see photos).
