Set Of Three Windows, Stained Glass With Frames And Door Frames, Mid-20th Century
An interesting set of three stained-glass windows, complete with their frames and cremone bolt opening mechanisms, dating from the mid-20th century. These arched windows are of very high quality; the green, yellow, and orange stained glass has an irregular appearance, giving the whole a more antique and authentic look. They feature a cross-hatched design. All three are sold with their frames and cremone bolt locking mechanisms, and the handles are gilt bronze. The set is in good condition, although the paint is old and flaking on the woodwork. Note two tiny hairlines on the edges of two small panes, which do not need to be replaced as they are not fragile (see last photo) and do not detract from the overall appearance. Truly decorative, these stained-glass windows create a warm and intimate atmosphere. Width with frame: 78cm // without frame: 70cm Height with frame: 124cm // without frame: 114cm Frame thickness: 5.5cm // Window thickness only: 3.5cm
