Large Pewter Wine Bottle (glockenkanne) - Schaffhausen (schaffouse), Circa 1800
Artist: Andreas Moser
Pewter bell-shaped "Glockenkanne" WINE BOTTLE, with a bayonet-locking lid topped by a large fixed vertical ring and a tubular clapper spout. It is adorned with a report crest and finely engraved floral motifs.
Perfectly legible hallmark of Andreas MOSER received master in 1792.
Founder's rosaceous countermark on the inner base.
Height : 34 cm.
SCHAFFHAUSEN (SCHAFFOUSE), Extreme late 18th or early 19th c
In perfect condition and lustrous median patina.
