Georges Bradberry was a French painter of the Rouen school, of English nationality through his father Louis Ernest Harlington Bradberry married to a French woman, He lived with his family in Saint Saëns.
He initially trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in his hometown before quickly joining the young students of Delattre's Free Academy, a friend of Hippolyte Madeleine and Léon Suzanne, he was greatly admired and influenced by his master Joseph Delattre
