Pair of small bronze busts, formerly decorative pull handles or furniture mounts, probably from a cabinet, coin chest or another fine piece of furniture.
Classical taste decoration, with high coiffures and antique-style drapery. The female bust shows a partially exposed breast and a flower in her hair; the other wears a laurel wreath, recalling 18th-century decorative models.
Hollow backs confirming their original applied use on furniture. Rear bases added later for display.
Good old patina.
