Incompletely legible control mark: FF couronnées / LY(ON) /... /.
Height: 25.2 cm.
LYON, Early 18th c
Consolidation of the handle fasteners and small rework at the knot.
The date of 1711 is that of the repair of its hallmark.
This "very classic" type of object is inspired by goldsmiths, and was also adopted by earthenware makers, earth potters and glassmakers.
