Early 19th-20th Century Art Nouveau Barbotine Hanging Planter
Very beautiful Art Nouveau antique barbotine suspension late 19th early 20th circa 1890-1930. Recalling the productions of Manufactures Onnaing, Nimy... Brand unknown, marked J on the inside. Basin shape, with floral, plant and geometric relief decoration in shades of beige, brown, ochre and dark blue. Attractive flared shape, completed by a decorative tassel at the bottom. Antique chain suspension in dark, very clean, patinated metal.
The suspension measures 24cm in diameter for 11-12cm in height, 15cm with the tassel, the total height with the chain 60-70cm. Very nice condition nothing particularly noteworthy. This piece can be used either as a hanging planter or as a light fixture to be electrified, depending on the desired use. Approx. 2kg.
