Large Purple Art Glass Vase With Silver Inclusions, 1960-1970, Studio Glass

Rare/unique collector's item. Superb large vase with a round, low body and a wide, high flared neck. Art glass, unsigned, Studio Glass, France, vintage 1960s-70s. Murano style, modern design, mid-century. Dark purple glass, transparent but appearing opaque black from the outside; the purple is only visible when held up to the light. Blown with silver inclusions: iridescent spots and splashes, petroleum-like patterns and very distinctive hues, very beautiful. Irregular rim of the neck, a slight dent on the body. 28.5cm high, 17.18cm maximum diameter of the body, 14.5cm diameter at the neck. Very good overall condition. A few discreet scratches, notably on the dent in the body, possibly original. Small manufacturing bubbles in the glass, not visible from the outside. No cracks or chips. Approximately 1.2 kg.
