Antique Crystal/blown Glass Pitcher With Engraved Floral Decoration, Europe 1920-1930
Elegant large pitcher in crystal or mouth-blown glass, engraved, antique craftsmanship dating from the 1920s-1930s. Cylindrical body in colorless crystal/glass, decorated at the bottom with fine engravings of stylized flowers and wheat ears. The handle is hot-applied, with a pretty pleated spout. The base has a polished pontil mark. Unsigned but of fine quality, in a style reminiscent of Bohemian or Central European productions from the first third of the 20th century. Height 28cm, maximum diameter at the base approximately 10cm. Very good overall condition, with a few discreet scratches from use at the bottom of the body. Weight approximately 800g.
