Impressive Vintage Design Lamp In Turned And Carved Wood With A Mid-century Ring

Sold without a lampshade.Magnificent, imposing table lamp in a mid-century Scandinavian design style. It features a large, relatively light-colored turned wood base, carved from a single piece of wood with a large, free-standing wooden ring. The original socket and (black) cord are screwed onto a washer at the top. The large vintage lampshade is made of cream/off-white fabric (nylon?), encircled with gold and brown plastic at the base and top, creating an elongated, flattened shape.The base is 39cm tall overall, with a maximum diameter of 15cm (ring). The cord is approximately 1m long. It can be used as a floor lamp but would also look stunning on a console table or chest of drawers. Unsigned. In very good overall condition, with two minor cracks in the woodwork at the base, which are not very noticeable. There are a few minor signs of wear and tear, but these are relatively discreet.
