28-piece Bernardaud Limoges Porcelain Dinner Service With Floral Design From The 20s And 50s
Magnificent antique Bernardaud very fine white Limoges porcelain service, translucent in the light, stamped B & C°, Bernardaud et Compagnie, vintage/antique production from the 1920s-1950s. Elegant Art Deco form. Multicolored floral decoration in transfer, with blue netting around the rim, spring-like, warm, cheerful and traditional.
Hand wash recommended, spot wash in dishwasher ok on gentle program, low temperature.
Lot consists of 28 pieces:
1 Large serving dish, dodecagonal:
34cm total length, 26 width, 3.5cm height, slightly hollow.
Very nice used condition, decoration shows some slight manufacturing defects and wear to transfer and edging. No chips or cracks, some very slight and very discreet utensil marks, little use. Beautiful vintage quality piece. Approx. 900gr.
2 Oval Raviers:
22cm long, 14.5cm wide for 2.3cm high.
Very nice condition, a few discreet transfer flaws and a few discreet original stains/pyrite (?) seeds. Approx. 150gr each.
13 Octagonal dinner plates:
24.7cm diameter by 2.5cm height. Good used condition, the decorations however show some manufacturing defects and transfer and border wear.
Good condition, the plates show signs of use, small manufacturing defects, transfer defects, no cracks, 2 or 3 chips, more or less discreet cutlery traces. Approx. 250gr each.
4 Octagonal soup plates:
24.7cm diameter by 4cm height. Very good used condition, the decorations however show some slight manufacturing defects and wear to the transfer and edging.
Nice condition, no chips or cracks, some very slight and very discreet utensil marks. 2 of them show light and discreet crazing on the bottom, as well as some manufacturing grains, very little use. Approx. 300-350gr each.
7 Octagonal Dessert Plates:
22cm diameter by 2.3cm height.
Used condition, the decorations and edging show manufacturing defects and transfer wear, there are also glazing defects on the surfaces showing a discreet bubbled texture. Some utensil marks. Some have a patina, and some show manufacturing grain. No cracks or chips. Some wear. Approx. 180gr each.
1 Rounded sauceboat with integrated dish:
About 8 cm high, 17 cm maximum width for the sauceboat, dish approx. 19 cm in diameter.
Very good used condition, the decoration shows some slight manufacturing flaws and micro-wear from the discreet transfer. No chips or cracks, but note a fine original firing crack on one rim, not serious and discrete slightly tinted. Approx. 350gr.
